About Us...
Prior to setting up Nigel Salter Joinery, Nigel worked in the mid-70s as an apprentice, starting up on his own as a joiner in 1985.
Now with sons George and James and employees Lewis and Sam, we have grown from strength to strength, running from a large workshop near Taunton.
Nigel oversees the business, handling quotes, ordering materials and measuring up for clients.
Our professional team works on listed and new buildings across Somerset on a wide range of joinery.
Whatever your requirements, we are well equipped to deal with any style of joinery and carpentry work and are happy to talk through your designs and offer a friendly, approachable, personal and above all, professional service.
With 13 years’ experience Lewis is the doors and windows specialist along with James who has six years’ experience, and Sam with two.
Looking after the larger joinery, including stairs, kitchens and bi-fold doors is George, who has eight years in the business.
